In 2005, the Musée acquired the Brousseau collection of Inuit Art. This extraordinary collection includes works from throughout the Canadian Arctic: Baffin Island, Kitikmeot, Kivalliq (Keewatin), Nunavik, Labrador and the Northwest Territories. The visionary Québec collector and art lover Raymond Brousseau spent almost 50 years acquiring this collection, which includes remarkable pieces from famous artists.
